After being out for five games, Ryan Malone was back in the lineup tonight. But he left the game with a mid-body injury and with the shortened bench the team began to unravel last night.

During the post-game press conference, Boucher says that "he won't be back soon".



Fast forward to just after the 1 minute mark for the Malone comment.

No word yet on what the injury is or how long he will actually be out yet, but my initial thought is: how will this change the outlook of the team if he is out for a long period of time? Does this change the need on trade deadline day?
