As I said in my preview: All is not lost with one loss

BUT, before we get to the recap, Iceburgh the Penguin mascot took some photos:

Outside of the Consol...

With some girls. The one on the right has thighs the size of Pensburgh's legs. Tree stumps there

And you are just an idiot. Way to get your photo taken. I feel bad for whoever had to write that on our stomach.

Onto the game:

The crowd was great to start. The Pensblog has the anthem on video

The Lightning came into tonight's game to make a statement that they wouldn't just be rolled over, and did they ever make a statement.

Lecavalier get his first of the series on the PP. Assists from Gagne and St. Louis

The Lightning get one more before the end of the period with Thompson capitalizing on a rebound after Steve Downie's shot.

By the end of the first period, this boy has his faith in life crushed:

In the second period, Roloson doesn't decide what he wants to do with the puck, so Craig Adams takes advantage and gets the Pens their first goal. It's 3-1 Lightning. Guh

But with only 14 seconds left in the 2nd period, Martin St. Louis gets his first of the playoffs to restore the 3 goal lead. Woo!

Letang continues to suck the rest of the game. Jordan Staal continues to shadow Stamkos even when Stamkos spends most of the game on the third line. And Mattias Ohlund gets his first goal as a Bolt with a short handed empty net goal. Lightning win this one 5-1.

Last 15 minutes of the game was boring and terrible to watch. The Pens fans in Consol left early, and really you couldn't blame them.

Boom. Next game is Monday at 7:30. Series tied at 1-1.
