Thoughts from tonight's game:

• Stamkos is on fire: 1 PPG in the first and another goal in the third period
• Nate Thompson scores his first goal of the season 29 seconds after Stamkos' PP goal
• Welcome back Dominic Moore: he scores Tampa's third goal in the last minute of the first period
• The Leafs have some guy named Korbinian Holzer. I think his name is funny to say

• The Lightning killed off a big 48 second 5 on 3. They in fact didn't allow Toronto to get a shot on net during the 5 on 3
• Dan Ellis stops 28 shots for a shutout
• Toronto just lost its sixth straight game

Big rebound from a bit of a disappointing trip out in Cali last week. After the 5 on 3 kill the Lightning really just got down to playing their game. Next game is on the road in Washington on Thursday.
